Juan De Marcos' Afro Cuban All Stars Live In Japan  To be released shortly, this DVD9 title features a one and a half hour concert of the Afro Cuban All Stars - including some musicians from the Buena Vista Social Club - shot in HD with 44.1/16 PCM audio. The video was encoded from Digi Beta at a data rate of 7.5 Mbits per second. The disc also features five interviews with the members of the band. Transpositional Landscapes Ongoing This is a project that was shot on Super 16mm film at various locations of incredible natural beauty around the United States. The film was directed by Gilbert Marhoefer with cinematography by Frazer Bradshaw. The music for the film was composed by Jason Gibbs on a poem by Gilbert Marhoefer and performed by The Apes of God and features 5.1 Dolby AC3 and stereo PCM tracks that were mixed at Skywalker Sound, and mastered at Paul Stubblebine Mastering. |
